July 31st

WOW...where did July go??
I've been busy making origami hot pads,
Puff stitch scarves
and more scarves.

Here are some of my new creations for a cool looking scarf...
they fold up like little squares...
and another one in the making is my peace sign scarf still in the works...

Saturday in Santa Cruz

Here's a picture of a seagull I was feeding Saturday
while fishing from the pier in Santa Cruz.
You can see the Santa Cruz boardwalk in the background.
It was a beautiful day.

Blue Squares

Vacation this week...Nice and relaxing.
I had these two skeins of a different looking striped yarn
that I didn't know what to do with so they ended up being
a granny square lapghan...10 by 10, three round granny.
Instead of a border I made solid grannies in the color Heather all around.
