Happy New Years 2007

Happy New Year 2007!!

I made these scarves last night on New Years Eve....

Got the yarn from the Sale at Michaels... I love yarn sales!

Finally finished the other log cabin....

Since Ruth in Kentucky has made my ripple afghan almost famous,
I might start another one of my ripple afghans with brown and yellow yarn.

First I have to finish another poncho and a camo basketweave I'm
working on...

Happy New Years EVE....be safe, don't drink too too much.

Busy week

Phew..I've had a busy week. I started another Log Cabin
afghan then put it on the back burner to finished this
poncho for my neighbors grand daughter, Halle. Here's a
picture of both. I think Halle really loves her poncho.
Doesn't she look cute?

Monday night, Dec 5th I started working on two baby
bear afghans. One pale pink and the other pale blue.
It took me 5 days after work to finish the pale pink
one. Here it is. I will have the pale blue one done
in a few more nights.

I started this afghan using only six colors...Dark Brown, med brown, beige, melon, light blue and yellow..I am using single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, no pattern,
anything I feel like or color I want in no order. I noticed I'm doing one thing in double crochet and that is the melon color...I'll try and get this finished this week.
Finally finished this scrapghan...Dec 18th.

I get board so easy....I was crocheting this scrap afghan using as many scraps as I could find with black inbetween colors...all single
crochet...got bored...and started the other afghan above.

I sure love to crochet this Basketweave pattern. It's so thick and
warm and cuddly. It looks like it's knitted but it's crocheted
using front post and back post double crochet stitches.
