Vintage strips

I'm working on this afghan right now...each row is
a different color and I'm using these stitches
at random...single, extended single, half double,
and double crochet.

Very cool! So what's an extended single crochet? I'm not familiar with that term... I know what a single crochet is... but what makes it extended? Just curious! You crochet so fast! I wish I had more time so I could crochet that much!!! :)

Thank you all very much...
now that I have peaked your interest in the extended single crochet I might as well let you practice making this stitch...it's so much fun. hehe

start like a single crochet:
put hook into stitch
yarn over pull thru stitch like
a single crochet then
yarn over and instead of pulling thru both loops on hook only pull thru one loop...then
yarn over and pull thru both
loops on hook.

this stitch is a little bigger than a single and inbetween the half double and double crochet stitches...

Have fun creating your afghans.
