I completed this last night for a friend of mine. The picture doesn't do it justice. I put a row of gold thread on each popcorn row and it glitters depending on how you look at it. It will fit the top of a queen size bed.
Completely off subject here, but I watched a youtube video on how to use the rectangular knifty knitter loom. The person was making a scarf, so I'm going to give it a go soon. There has just been too much on my plate to try it as yet. Cheers Cat.
It is just beautiful. I love that you put the gold thread in too. Your friend will absolutely love it, I'm sure. (And if not, send it to me. I'll give it a good home.) ;-)
My name is Linda, I've been an avid crocheter for over 40 years. I enjoy being with my husband who is my best friend and crocheting, hence my name "The Crocheting Fool" also know as Warpspeedlinda on Ravelry.

Thanks everyone!
Its even prettier in person if I don't say so myself. I love making these samplers. Each one is so different.
This is so beautiful!
It's my first visit to your blog but I plan on bookmarking so I can visit often.
