I've been busy since Thanksgiving. I've been making capes, socks, knitting a shawl and making magic ball afghans. Also went and saw Crater Lake over Thanksgiving.
Crater Lake is beautiful! Love that picture. Your socks are nice too. Your Peruvian Print sock looks better than my afghan I'm making with that yarn...hehehe.
I love that picture I took of Crater lake too...it was a fantastic view from there. With that Peruvian print yarn you might both want to look at this afghan I made a while back http://www.flickr.com/photos/crochetingfool/644946129/in/set-72157600527542260/ I ran into the same problem crocheting with this Strata yarn...so what I did is crocheted it into strips. You'll have to experiment with the yarn and see how wide to make it before the pattern changes. Usually about a chain of 20 should work. Maybe more or maybe less than. It would look pretty crocheted this way I think.
My name is Linda, I've been an avid crocheter for over 40 years. I enjoy being with my husband who is my best friend and crocheting, hence my name "The Crocheting Fool" also know as Warpspeedlinda on Ravelry.

Beautiful picture! Though anything not covered with snow looks beautiful to me these days!
Peruvian Print must be made for knitters. I'm with Candy, looks great as sock! Not so good on anything I've tried to crochet with it.

Your RH Strata afghan is very pretty. I'm going to take your advice and try that with the Peruvian Print yarn and see how that works out.
Great idea! I've some skeins of Peruvian Print waiting for a project! I'll have to try this.
