Catherine's Wheel Pattern

I found this pattern stitch from the book
"The Ultimate Sourcebook of Knitting and Crochet stitches"
Readers Digest. page 207
The pattern is a multiple 10 sts plus 7.
My starting chain for the afghan was 157 using a 'G' hook.

To finish I put two rows of single crochet around the entire afghan.
3 sc in each corner. Then I put a basic shell of 6dc, skip 2, sc 1, skip 2, 6dc around and fastened off. In the corners I put 8dc so that it would lay flat.

Wow, another beautiful afghan! I love the stitch you used and I love the shell edging on the afghan. This is one stitch I'm going to have to try with my scraps now!
