The pattern is a multiple 10 sts plus 7.
My starting chain for the afghan was 157 using a 'G' hook.
To finish I put two rows of single crochet around the entire afghan.3 sc in each corner. Then I put a basic shell of 6dc, skip 2, sc 1, skip 2, 6dc around and fastened off. In the corners I put 8dc so that it would lay flat.
