More Stripes

I was bored so I made this plain striped afghan.
I finished it this morning. It is done in single
crochet. Starting chain 150 stitches.
Stripes are either 2, 3, 4 or 5 rows wide.
I used a Size K Susan Bates hook.
This afghan is 6ft by 5ft and is covering a love seat.

I really enjoyed visiting your blog. Your crocheting is an inspiration. I am a beginner and I have a couple of questions. What size bed does this striped afghan cover? What was the hook size you used, and how many stitches were in the beginning chain? Well, that was more than a couple of questions! LOL But it looks like something a beginner could tackle.

I also particularly loved the appearance of the variegated granny square afghan. How many rounds were in each square? My poor eyes can't make it out in the photo. Again, please provide the hook size and the finished size, if you would be so kind.

Happy hooking, my friend!

I love the way your stripe pattern came out. What a great way to use up scraps!

I just started crocheting in January 2008, and your afghan inspired me to make my first afghan. Thank you so much!
