A 4 up ripple and a few curly scarves

I've been working on 4 different afghans and a few curly scarves...finally finished the 4 up, 4 down ripple...This is
my original pattern. It's all done in Half Double crochet.
I think I started with a chain of 162..
*4 hdc in first 4 stitches (up), 3 in next stitch, 4 hdc in next 4 stitches (down), skip 2 repeat from * across ending in chain 2,turn.
Always skip the 1st stitch then continue with the pattern above until you get the afghan how big you want it. Hopes this helps you all create your own.

The scarf made with the fun fur stuff I first made a row of single crochet stitches with a mauve colored yarn...then did 4 dc stitches, then 3 dc stitches and it made the scarf twist...the other two I chained 145 stitches with a k hook and did 5 dc in each stitch to the end...

What a gorgeous ripple! I think your curly scarves are pretty too. Thanks for including the pattern for them. I'll have to give it a try.
