Me crocheting
Here's a short video of me crocheting... People say I crochet so fast and somebody wanted me to film myself crocheting...My husband got the digital camera out and tried filming me. Not sure how to make the film yet but we tried. Since I haven't really seen anyone crochet in person I don't know if this is fast or not? Here it is:
I did 3 dc ch 1 Four times.

It was so blurry I couldn't tell!! ;P lol.... Wow, that is fast. You should go up against Lily Chin, doesn't she claim to be the fastest crocheter? ;)

Lily Chin is not the fastest crocheter. She never was. Some yarn company just arbitrarily declared her the fastest.
The actual Fastest Crocheter is Lisa Gentry. She decided to try to become the fastest crocheter when she checked with Guinness Book of World Records and Lily Chin was nowhere to be found in there. Cant remember who Lisa beat out, but I think the record has stood since sometime in the 1970s.
Lisa also went up against Lily a few years back. Lily kept trying to distract Lisa instead of actually trying to concentrate on crocheting. Lisa kicked her butt.
Wow Linda you were crocheting so fast that it almost looked like you were crocheting with two hooks!!!! I love the way that you are holding your yarn and you do such a fantastic job!!! Bet you could give Lilly Chin a run for her money.

Maybe some day I can go up against the other fast crocheters...hopefully I wouldn't get stage fright...hahaha
Being a lefty I had no one to tell me how to hold my yarn back when I was taught and refused to wrap it around my fingers the way my right handed teacher did...so I held the yarn the way it was comfortable to me.

Whoa! you are a speedy! A leftie I see. You keep on holding the yarn any way you want! You must spend a lot of time crocheting. You sure do lovely work!
