Florida State

Created this blanket for a co-worker. She wanted a nice present for her niece who goes to Florida State. I didn't like the colors but after the blanket was created I think they look quite nice.

I do love this picture.... Happy 4th of July...Happy 21st Anniversary to me and my hubby... Happy 36th to my Aunt and Uncle...wooo wooo We've been on vacation for a week..driving around California from coast to foothills having a great time. One problem...we wore out our camera... No pictures wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Here's what I've done so far this month. I've crocheted about 15 market bags. Still working on my no edge granny square blanket..Made a capelet for my Auntie. Made a few hot pads. Started another blanket I'm calling Firecracker. It's the same pattern as 'Flowers in the Snow' or my Uffda blanket...this one in red. As for knitting I'm completing my 3rd market bag..having fun making up patterns as I go. Until I buy a new camera.... Happy Crocheting to all...

Busy month of June 2012

wow, where do I start...busy month. I completed this wavy blanket. I've been working on completing this huge 'no edge' granny square blanket for our queen size bed. So far I'm having fun with it. I'm using Caron simply soft yarn, about 27 different colors. A friend ordered another baby bear blanket in pink. I also made one in baby blue and in navy blue but darn I forgot to take pictures. I created these cute hot pads this past weekend. I'm working on writing the pattern. Last but not least I'm also designing some market bags. Happy Crocheting!

Flowers in the Snow

Calling this blanket Uffda...hahaha Worked on it this past weekend...so far so good. I'm enjoying joining as I crochet the squares... I have now added 1 more row to make it 10 squares long and another row to make it 5 squares wide. I want to make it 10 squares by 10 squares. Picture is 9x4 squares

Puzzle blanket on April Fools Day

TADA!!! I completed my latest puzzle blanket
on April Fools day!!!
My husband held it up in the yard so we could
get the entire blanket in the picture.
A co-worker, Jason, made the design for me in Excel and
I did the crocheting. Woo wooo!

March Vacation

Had a great time on vacation. Caught a nice rainbow trout and
so did my hubby..He also had time to fly his remote control
helicopter one day...I completed a granny square blanket.
Made up a few beer holders and water bottle holders out of plastic
twine. Made what I'm calling my black bottom purse out of some
cotton scraps. And enjoyed a few Corona beers while creating it. haha
Had great sunsets and a few nice campfires.

More granny squares

I finished a striped blanket, a granny square and another
baby bear blanket....
Now I'm working on this granny square blanket.
Don't know how big I'll make it yet.
